BAR MITZVAH ENTERTAINMENT

Bar Mitzvah Entertainment

There are two types of Bar Mitzvah Entertainment. There is Bar Mitzvah cocktail entertainment, and Bar Mitzvah reception entertainment. Bar Mitzvah cocktail entertainment is provided during the cocktail hour which is the first hour of the party. Bar Mitzvah cocktail entertianment is in a seperate room, and not in the main dining and party room. Bar Mitzvah cocktail entertainment is for the kids while the adults gather and meet and greet. Bar Mitzvah cocktail examples are as follows: airbrush tatoos, basketball game, photo pavors, rock band video game, personalized photo dog tags, etc.

Reception Entertainment is the main entertainment. It can be a band or DJ or both. Most Bar Mitzvah parties use Bar Mitzvah DJ Entertainment companies. Kids relate to the music a DJ plays compared what a band can play. A Bar Mitzvah DJ Entertainment company provides more than just a DJ. A common Bar Mitzvah entertainment package for about 150 guests would include a staff of four: MC (master of ceremonies, emcee), a DJ (disc jockey, dee jay), and two motivational dancers (one male, one female).

The VJ, the newest element in the Bar Mitzvah Entertainment world is VJ's, (video jockey). like the DJ, the VJ plays not just music, but music videos. While the DJ plays CD music, the VJ plays DVD music videos. While the DJ plays music from a computer, the VJ plays music videos from the computer also. Video screens and plasma monitors are used to display the music videos, as well as the Bar or Bat Mitzvah child's DVD photo montage. The video screens and plasma monitors are also used to display video animation, and custom DVD candle lighting discs. Where the DJ/VJ is behind the scenes working the music, lights and videos, the MC is on the dancefloor entertaining with the motivation dancers.

The MC coordinates the Bar Mitzvah party. The catering schedule, and grand entrance, candlelighting, motzi, kiddish, hora, announcements, follow-along dances, toasts, the videographer and photographer placement, first slow dance, etc. Most would agree the MC is the most important element in a successful Bar Mitzvah reception. An experienced MC creates the energy and excitement that family and guests expect from a once in a lifetime Bar Mitzvah event, all while putting the family and facility staff at ease with his professionalism. Of coarse the music selection is also very very important, and the sound system and microphone. It is understood that the MC/DJ duo that works together every weekend have the most successful Bar Mitzvah events under there belts

The Motivational Dancers motivate the crowd and the guest of honor to participate in the fun. The motivational dancers change costumes, and provide costume changes for the guests participating in party sets like: motown, grease, ymca, etc. The motivational dancers also hand out party favors and glow items, and well as party props. Dancers also act as judges for the kids games, and kid security guards!
